Aconcagua in Argentina.
The highest mountain in South America at 6962m.
Mistakenly believed by Charler Darwin to be volcanically active
when he viewed it during the voyage of the Beagle.
Now thought to be the southern remnant of a 10 million year
old volcano, much dissected by thrust faulting.
