Arenal volcano, Costa Rica is one of the most active in the
country
It is a stratovolcano composed of a mixture of lava and pyroclastics.
It has major eruptions, interspersed with peaceful lave effusion.
An eruption of VEI 3 took place in 1968
Below are two stamps issued in 2004 and 2005 depicting the
volcano.
They differ in that the left was printed by Gozaka S.A., the
right by LIL S.A.

They are thermal self-adhesives.
The ATM includes the machine number, the name of the city
or postal office, the date and the face value.
