Avachinsky volcano overlooking the town of Petropavlovsk on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

The volcano last erupted in 1991.

Most eruptions have been up to a VEI of 3 or less.

The stamp was issued in 1966.

I think the stamp above shows both Avachinsky (right) and Koriasky.
