Bandai, Honshu, Japan.
An infrequently-erupting volcano.
Last eruption in 1888 was of magnitude 4 on the VEI scale.
Although not realized at the time, this eruption was of a
style similar to that which took place at Mt. St. Helens in 1980.

Bandai-Asahi National Park.
