The Big Bend Sportman's
Club leases land approximately a mile and a half west of town on Rte 90
for use as a firing range. The range features three shooting areas, a 25/50
yd range for pistols, 100 yds for rifles and a shotgun range.
Membership in the club is only $40.00 per
year, per family!!! Fees renewable in early
September. Each member is given a numbered key to the padlock at
the entrance and is notified of the monthly (Sept. thru May) meetings via
email.

The officers and interested members meet on the first Tuesday
of each month to discuss club affairs.

- President: Dave Arnold

- Secretary: Jim Whitford-Stark
- R.O.'s: Henry Ogletree, Donnie Newberry, Dave Rohr, Monty Kimball
and Kyp Angel.
Semi-formal pistol shooting is undertaken Saturday afternoons
from 2:30 to approximately 4:30. Shooting moving target 2nd Saturday, rifle
third .
Formal shotgun shooting is undertaken on Sundays at 2:00 pm First
and third sunday are for trap, second and fifth for skeet, fourth for sporting
clays if help is available.
Tuesday,
October 7th, 2008, 6pm for meeting.
