Bristol Island.
One of the South Sandwich Group of the Falkland Island Dependencies
in the South Atlantic, the Island last
witnessed a volcanic eruption in 1956.
The highest point, Havfruen Peak, is located on the east side
of the Island.
The 52p stamp depicting the Island, and shown below, is on
a First Day Cover issued November 8th, 1984.
