Overlooking the town of Djupivogur on the east coast of Iceland,
the pyramid-shaped Bulandstindur appears to be a layered basaltic
sequence.
Exhibition-quality heulandite crystals have been collected
from the mountain.
I have no idea as to the age of the rocks.
