Le Chat and La Souris, Mauritius
"The cat and the mouse".
Someone must have had a vivid imagination.
Located on the east side of the Island.
The entirety of Mauritius is volcanic, dating back 8 million
years.
Consequently there has been much erosion in its tropical climate.
Therefore the mountains on the island, though volcanic, represent
the remnants of the original volcano.
