Chimborazo volcano is an extinct(?) Quaternary structure.
The summit has the distinction of being the furthest point
from the center of the Earth.
It is 6,310 m above sea level.
The first stamp, issued in 1930 illustrates cereal growing
with the mountain behind
Note the distinctive 3 peaked summit region.
The next two stamps,which I am afraid are rather large images
and take a while to load,
were issued in 1938
The next stamps were issued in 1934 and 1945 (10¢)
The next stamps are airmail, issued in 1939
