Daisetsu Volcano, Hokkaido, Japan.
The volcano has not erupted since 1400AD from a vent on Asahi-dake.
That eruption was of magnitude 2 on the VEI scale.
The first day cover illustrated below has stamps illustrating
Lake Shikaribetsu and Mt. Kurodake.
