Fuji on the island of Honshu, Japan.
The volcano that appears on the stamps of more countries than
any other.
An almost perfect shape for a composite volcano, with a concave
upward profile rising to the summit crater.
The earliest recorded eruption by radiocarbon dating is from
8540 BC.
The majority of eruptions have been of VEI 2 or less, but
have been as high as VEI 5.
It last erupted in possibly 1709 AD.

City to commemorate Expo70.

Also to celebrate Expo 70 was the next giant stamp issued
by Czechoslovakia.
