USS Butte (AE-27)
In reality named after Butte, Montana but there is also a
"Volcano Butte" Quadrangle in Montana
and a "Volcano Butte" cone in the Cosos Volcanic
Field of California.
Launched August 1967.

Named after California City but is also an historically active
volcano on Terceira in the Azores.
