Mere Lava is a 3,372 foot high stratovolcano (Mt. Teu).

Located at 14.45 S 168.04 E, it is one of the Banks Islands.

Supposedy, Mere Lava was erupting during the sail-by of

Pedro Fernadez de Quiros in April of 1606.
