The author of this web page was annoyed that the Royal Mail
did not provide the information themselves. I have nothing to gain from
this listing and any mistakes are all mine.

****First Day Covers****
The Royal Mail will only sell these if order is received prior
to first day of issue. Since I sometimes do not receive that information
until they have been issued, I do not list them.
Issues for 2008 include (so far):
April 15th: Insects
May 13th: Cathedrals
June 10th: Classic Carry On and Hammer films
July 17th: Airshows
August sometime: Olympic Games
September 18th: RAF Uniforms
September 29th: 50th Anniversary of country definitives
October 14th: Women of distinction
November 4th: Christmas
November 6th: Lest we forget 2008
First day covers can also be ordered from Norvic Philatelics if ordered before day of issue
I also do not list - plates (the type you eat off of), framed
stamps, the Penny Black range, Corgi vehicles, videos, desk sets, jewellry,
ceramics, or miscellaneous products.
Why the Royal Mail should believe anyone would want these
materials is beyond me.
