Puracé Volcano, Colombia

Last erupted in 1977 with VEI magnitude of 2.

The first stamp is the coat of arms of the city of Popayan.

I'm assuming the shaded mountain in front of the others is supposed to be Puracé

The next pair of stamps is open to question.

Entitled "Apotheosis of Popayan" a mural by Zambrano.

It appears stamp to left may depict volcano erupting in background.

However my copy is cancelled and I can't see too well.

If you have mint version or access to mural, I'd appreciate either confirmation or denial.

Stamps courtesy of Ed Benson.
