The Cameroun Volcanic Line extends from the offshore island of Pagalu to at least the Rumsiki Hills.

Perhaps beyond to Lake Chad, a distance of about 1,000 kilometers.

The Rumsiki Hills are the remnants of approximately 30 million year old basaltic volcanic necks,

similar to the Puys of the Puys du Dome of France.
