Sabyinyo Volcano
"Old Man's Teeth" rises to 3,645 meters above sea-level.
The volcano summit has the distinction of being in three countries,
Rwanda, Uganda, and the Republic of the Congo.
It forms one of the Virunga group of volcanoes.
It has not erupted in historic time.
The mountain is famous for its Gorillas.
The stamp below was issued in 1975, then reissued in 1977
with the overprint
"Conference Mondiale de L'Eau" - World Conference
on Water.
