USS Suribachi (AE-21)
Note inverted "A" of "AE"
Commissioned in 1956 and modernized in 1963.
Originally assigned to Caribbean and Mediterranean, briefly
assigned to Pacific Fleet in 1972
Rejoined Atlantic Fleet in 1973, serving off Grenada in 1983
and the Persian Gulf 1990.
Struck in 1996.

USS Haleakala (AE-25)
Launched 17th February, 1958.
Commissioned in 1959 and assigned to Pacific Fleet
Nicknamed "The Fast Lady" because fitted with Fully
Automatic Shuttle Transfer System.
Decommissioned in 1995
