Taal on the island of Luzon in the Philippines has been frequently
active since 1572.
Most eruptions have been of VEI magnitude 2 or less, but have
been as high as 4.
The stamp on the right below was issued on Oct 1st 1968 and
depicts eruption of September 28th, 1965.
The stamp on the left was issued Oct 24th 1962 and shows the
island in relation to lake.
