Pico El Teide dominates the Canary Island of Tenerife.

It is the third largest volcano in the world

(after the Hawaiian monsters).

It has a massive caldera formed by multiple collapse episodes.

The majority of the volcano is composed of pyroclastic flows.

The most recent eruption was in 1909.
